Murdoch Veterinary Clinic Staff

Dr. Christine Murdoch - WCVM ‘88

Dr. Murdoch graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 1988. She started her own practice in 1991 working out of her truck and then expanded to an in-clinic facility in 1993. Dr. Murdoch rode jumping horses competitively and still rides when time permits. She plays basketball in the winter and enjoys water sports in the summer. Family is very important to her and she takes great pleasure in spending time with her husband and daughter.

Dr. Jodyne Green - WCVM’06

Dr. Green is originally from Manitoba and decided to give beautiful BC a try after graduating with distinction from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation she received an award for excellence in large animal surgery. She has also co-authored articles in equine reproduction, which she will be presenting at an American Association of Equine Practitioners conference this winter. She is an avid golfer in the summer and hockey player in the winter.

Kelly-Anne H - Office Manager

Kelly-Anne grew up in Vernon/Lumby and came to PG in 1996 to be closer to family and continue her education. She and Michael purchased a home on 5 acres in 1999 and have raised her little sister Kayden since 2005. Kelly-Anne received her Diploma in Management & Marketing in 2006 and joined the team in September 07. She has sat on several boards and volunteers with numerous organizations.

Kristy J –Registered Animal Health Technician

Kristy was born and raised in Prince George. The summer of 2007 she ventured the furthest she has ever been from home; she went to Knoxville Tennessee to take some intense courses on canine rehabilitation. Kristy enjoys fishing, camping, reading and movies. Kristy recently adopted a puppy from the local SPCA. Her puppy brings much happiness and laughter to her life but much stress and anger to her cats.

Lindsay K – Veterinary Assistant (Summer Student)

Lindsay is a 4th year animal biology student at Thompson Rivers University. She is happy to be back home in PG for the summer working as a Veterinary Assistant. Additionally, Lindsay is working on her research regarding observational/social learning in horses. She is currently going through the application process for the Western College of Veterinary Medicine.

Kacie H – Veterinary Assistant

Kacie grew up on a hobby farm in Mission and was involved local 4H. She moved here in 2001 to complete her Bachelors of Science in biology. She has worked at the clinic since November 2004. Currently she is going through the application process for the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. Her one pet is a young hedgehog named Riker.

Kelly M – Registered Animal Health Technician

Kelly started here in 1998 after receiving her diploma in Animal Health Technology. She lives with her husband and young daughter. They have one dog. She enjoys hiking and gardening.

Alexys C – Kennel Attendant

Alexys goes to Cedars Christian School. She rides horses (currently training her 3 year old horse), plays soccer, volleyball, basketball, track and loves to play with friends. She started working at the clinic in October of 2007.

Shannon C – Administrative Assistant

Shannon grew up in PG and is married to Marc. They have 2 children, Megan and Liam. Shannon has 4 horses, a Jack Russell Terrier and 3 cats. Her daughter has 2 rats and a hamster. Shannon has worked here since 2004.
