Dr. Christine Murdoch, Owner

graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) in Saskatoon in 1988. A few years after graduation, she started a mobile clinic & worked out of her truck. In 1993 she built her own small/large animal facility on Gunn Road. Dr. Murdoch used to jump horses competitively and still rides when time permits. She plays basketball in the winter and enjoys water sports in the summer months. Family is very important to Dr. Murdoch and she takes great pleasure in spending time with her husband and princess-loving daughter.

Dr. Jennifer McConnell
grew up on a beef farm in Ontario and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2005. She practiced mixed animal medicine in Northern Ontario before relocating to PG and joining our team in May of 2011. Dr. McConnell is passionate about soft tissue surgery. She is also keen to develop her orthopaedic surgery and ultrasound skills.

She loves all animals. Dr. McConnell really enjoys working with horses and cats.

In the warmer months she enjoys hiking, hunting, fishing and riding horses. During the winter she enjoys skiing and painting. Dr. Jenn has two cats, a beloved pony named Fury and a miniature horse named Bones.

Dr. Tiera Machell
is a 2011 graduate from the WCVM and has worked at MVC since June of 2011. She was born and raised on Saltspring Island. In ‘06 she completed a Bachelor of Natural Resource Science at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops. Dr. Machell and her fiance moved to Prince George in the spring and purchased a farm where they raise Canadian horses and Border Collie dogs. They currently have a small herd of horses, 4 cats, 3 dozen chickens and a calf. In her spare time, Dr. M enjoys playing guitar, horseback riding and a multitude of other outdoor sports.
